What To Expect During Your Ultherapy Session
We begin your Ultherapy treatment by cleansing the skin and applying ultrasound gel to the target areas. We then place the handpiece against your skin, and it delivers ultrasound energy to the deeper layers without disturbing the surface. Each pulse of energy may cause a warm, tingling sensation, which most clients tolerate easily.
Your session can last anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes, depending on the size and number of areas you would like to treat. Your nurse concludes the treatment with a soothing moisturizer and sunscreen to protect your skin.
What Is Recovery Like After Ultherapy?
One significant benefit of Ultherapy is that it requires no downtime. You can resume your normal activities, including applying makeup, immediately after treatment. Some patients may experience slight redness, swelling, or tingling, but these effects are temporary and should subside within a few hours to a couple of days.
