We perform your LaseMD Ultra treatment in a comfortable, private setting. Your nurse begins by applying a numbing cream to your skin. Once the topical anesthetic has taken effect (usually after 30 to 60 minutes), we begin the treatment.
Your provider customizes the laser’s settings to your specific concerns and desired intensity level. The treatment is well-tolerated by most clients, with commonly reported sensations including warmth and tingling as the laser pulses over the skin. Depending on the size and number of areas being rejuvenated, you can expect the actual treatment to last 15 to 60 minutes.
What Is Recovery Like After LaseMD Ultra?
After your LaseMD Ultra treatment, you may experience mild redness and a warm sensation, similar to a sunburn, which should subside within a day or two. Over the next 5 to 7 days, your skin will feel dry and rough, like sandpaper, as it heals and renews.
