What To Expect During Your SMP Session
Each scalp micropigmentation session lasts about 3 to 4 hours. Most clients require 2 to 3 sessions, spaced approximately 2 weeks apart, to achieve their desired results. We use a specialized microneedle to apply microdots of pigment that replicate the appearance of hair follicles.
Although some patients may experience minor discomfort, the treatment is typically well tolerated without the need for numbing medication.
What Is Recovery Like After SMP?
There is minimal downtime following a scalp micropigmentation treatment. You may experience slight redness and mild swelling for the first day or two, but these effects usually resolve quickly. You can return to work and most of your daily activities immediately, with a few simple aftercare guidelines to follow for optimal results.
